Hot tubs are one of the most beloved amenities at The Countrylife, and we want to make sure your experience is absolutely perfect. Here’s what goes into keeping them that way — and what you can expect during your stay.

The Work Behind the Scenes

We change the water multiple times per week to keep it fresh and clean. After each guest checkout, we:

  • Empty and refill (takes 3 hours)
  • Deep clean and inspect
  • Vacuum daily to remove any debris
  • Maintain chemical balance
  • Test all controls and safety features

Because we only have 4 hours between guests, we pre-heat your hot tub to 30-35°C by 3pm arrival time. It heats at 1°C per hour, so you’ll have a perfect soak within hours of arrival.

Your Emergency Backup

Something rare but we want you to know: We have an emergency hot tub available 6 days per week. If your hot tub needs any maintenance, you can use another unit immediately — no waiting, no hassle.

How to Use Your Hot Tub

Most guests get the most out of their hot tubs by understanding a few simple operating tips:

  • Keep the lid ON — it allows the heater to work properly
  • Keep the heater ON — don’t switch it off
  • Temperatures 0-35°C are automatic — higher temperatures need a manual adjustment (up arrow button)
  • Bubbles pause the heating (by design on some models) — turn bubbles off if you want faster heating
  • Filter warning light? Turn off the heater, press the top left button for 5 seconds, and the light will clear
